BioRx Wins Tristate Success Award

March 8, 2010 (Cincinnati, Ohio) - Cincy magazine has announced BioRx as a finalist in its First Annual Tristate Success Awards.

Tristate Success AwardsFounded on the premise that the Tristate’s strength as a thriving business center is built on the growth and success of its businesses, the Tristate Success Awards honor the most successful and consistent public, private and emerging companies in the Tristate. Recipients of this prestigious award are companies who have exhibited the ability to overcome obstacles and challenges in their industry, even in difficult economic times. BioRx, a national specialty pharmacy serving individuals with bleeding disorders, immune deficiencies, nutritional disorders, and hereditary angioedema, is one of twelve finalists in the Emerging Winners category.

Tristate Success Award Bio ImageCo-founded by Philip Rielly and Eric Hill, BioRx is a privately-owned company located in Blue Ash, Ohio. The firm began operations in 2004 with only three employees, specializing in the treatment of hemophilia. Offering in-home nursing care, with infusion suite nurses on staff and a unique consumer advocacy program, the company quickly grew and expanded to offer treatment for primary immune deficiencies and nutritional deficiencies. The quick growth required relocation and expansion of the office, pharmacy, and distribution facility in 2007 to accommodate the increase in business.

BioRx is the only local company specializing in the treatment of hemophilia and immune deficiency disorders. Servicing all fifty states, the company expanded to 111 employees in March 2010.

BioRx will be featured in the April issue of Cincy Magazine and honored at an awards dinner on April 21, 2010 at Xavier University’s Cintas Center.
